Frequently asked questions about this service

Do you carry out international repatriations?
Yes. We arrange repatriations to any country in the world and in both directions, from and to Spain, with a network of international funeral partners.
How long does an international repatriation take?
Usually between 5 and 10 working days: around 5-7 for European countries and 8-12 for more distant destinations, depending on consular formalities and flight availability. We keep you informed at all times.
Can you transfer the deceased to another region?
Yes. We carry out transfers throughout Spain, collecting from hospitals, homes, care homes or funeral homes, and we handle all the paperwork. For urgent transfers we can set things in motion within hours.
What documentation is needed for a transfer?
The death certificate and the transfer permit from the health authority; for repatriations, also the consular authorisation, the preservation certificate and sworn translations if the destination country requires them. We take care of gathering and submitting everything.
Can a body be transferred abroad without embalming?
No. International regulations require certified preservation or embalming for any air transfer, together with an approved, hermetically sealed coffin.
Can urns with ashes be repatriated?
Yes, and it is a simpler transfer: it does not require the same health measures, only the cremation certificate and the transfer documentation, with the urn sealed, identified and protected.
Can I accompany my loved one during the transfer?
It depends on the journey: on short transfers a relative may travel in the vehicle if approved seats are available; on international air transfers it is not possible. In any case, we keep you informed of the route and the estimated time.
Are you available for urgent transfers?
Yes, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We also work with funeral homes, insurers and institutions.
